THDC India Limited (THDCIL), a premier Schedule-A Mini Ratna PSU, held its First Quarterly Review Meeting (QRM) for the Vigilance Department for the financial year 2025–26 at the HRD Centre, Aam Bagh in Rishikesh. The session underscored the organization’s unwavering commitment to transparency, integrity, and proactive vigilance in public sector governance.
Mr. R.K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDCIL, addressed the gathering and reaffirmed that vigilance should be seen not merely as a compliance mechanism, but as a fundamental pillar of accountable and responsible public sector management. He stressed the role of vigilance in enhancing organizational credibility and operational discipline.
The meeting was chaired by Ms. Rashmita Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer (IRS), and was attended by Mr. S.K. Arya, Deputy CVO and GM (Vigilance), along with vigilance officials from THDCIL’s projects and Corporate Office. The review session included detailed discussions on critical focus areas such as handling of audit paras and complaints, conducting surprise checks and CTE-type inspections, and adherence to CDA Rules, the Whistle Blower Policy, and Labour Laws.
In her address, Ms. Rashmita Jha urged the need for building a future-ready vigilance ecosystem within the organisation. She called for the nurturing of young vigilance professionals into leadership roles and provided strategic direction to align ethical practices with THDCIL’s operational framework and core values.
