Mr. Rishabh Trivedi, a 2023-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the new station in-charge of Ghatsila Police Station. He officially assumed charge on February 27.
On the second day of his tenure, Mr. Trivedi visited Ghatshila College to inspect the ongoing intermediate examinations. Impressed by the well-organized system, he met Principal Dr. R.K. Chaudhary, who welcomed him with traditional customs.
Dr. Chaudhary shared that Mr. Trivedi hails from Banda, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his intermediate studies in Kanpur, pursued LLB and LLM from Hyderabad, and later obtained an MA from the School of Economics, London. Before joining the IPS, he worked as an advocate in the Delhi High Court.
During the visit, Dr. Chaudhary invited Mr. Trivedi to speak at an upcoming cybercrime awareness program, to which he gladly agreed.
The event was attended by MLA representative Jagdish Bhakat, Police Inspector Madhusudan De, Dr. S.K. Singh, Professor Indal Paswan, Dr. D.C. Ram, Dr. Sandeep Chandra, and Dr. S.P. Singh, among others.
