Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday chaired a high-level meeting in Lucknow to assess the academic and infrastructural progress of three newly established state universities:
- Maa Pateshwari State University (Balrampur)
- Maa Vindhyavasini State University (Mirzapur)
- Guru Jambheshwar State University (Moradabad)
Vice chancellors of the respective institutions were present, along with senior education and infrastructure officials.

“These institutions reflect PM Narendra Modi’s vision of quality and equitable education in every district,” the CM said, according to an official release.
He laid out a phased construction plan:
- Phase I: Completion of the administrative block, academic block, and VC residence, with strict adherence to timelines and quality.
- Phase II: Fast-track construction of student hostels and residential quarters for staff.
Yogi directed that at least 500 workers be deployed at each site to maintain momentum and seriousness in execution.

To ensure smooth academic and operational functioning, the CM ordered the immediate appointment of key positions across all three universities, including:
- Registrar
- Controller of Examinations
- Controller of Finance
In a notable development, the CM also launched the official website and logo of Guru Jambheshwar State University (GJU), Moradabad — available at https://www.gjum.ac.in.
