IRTS officer Mr. Upendra C Joshi has been sent back to his parent cadre. According to the order issued by Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been prematurely repatriated so that he can avail the benefit of promotion in his cadre. Mr. Joshi, who is an IRTS officer of 1989 batch, was currently serving as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines.
