New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on November 11, 2025, announced the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025. A total of 2,736 candidates have qualified for the Personality Test (Interview) stage of the prestigious examination.
The Mains examination was conducted between August 22 and August 31, 2025, across multiple centres in India. The results are available on the official UPSC websites — upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in

What’s Next: Personality Test (Interview)
The shortlisted candidates will now appear for the Personality Test (Interview) for recruitment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other Group A and Group B Central Services.
The interviews will be conducted at UPSC Headquarters, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi, and the schedule of interviews will be notified soon.
Candidates will be able to download their e-summon letters for the interview stage from the UPSC website. The Commission clarified that no paper summon letters will be issued.
Documents and Eligibility Verification
According to the official notice, the candidature of all qualified candidates is provisional, subject to verification of eligibility criteria and original documents, including:
- Proof of age and educational qualification
- Community certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates)
- Disability certificate (for PwBD candidates)
- TA form and other relevant documents
Candidates are advised to keep these documents ready for verification during their interview.
Mandatory Online Form Update Window
As per Rule 13(3) of the Civil Services Examination 2025 Rules, all qualified candidates must update their details online on the UPSC website between November 13 and November 27, 2025 (till 6 PM).
During this period, candidates must:
- Upload proof of qualifying examination
- Update educational qualification, employment, service preference, and address details
- Verify all information to generate their e-summon letter
- Failure to complete this process will result in cancellation of candidature.
- Attestation Form and Further Process
In addition to the UPSC Online Application Form (OAF), all qualified candidates must fill the Attestation Form online through the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) portal https://cseplus.nic.in/Account/Login

- Result of 3 Candidates Withheld
The results of three candidates (Roll Nos. 0231856, 3400441, and 6417903) have been withheld due to pending court cases.
Final Results and Marks
The final result will be declared after the completion of the interview process. The marksheets of all candidates will be uploaded on the UPSC website within 15 days from the date of the final result and will remain available for 30 days.
