The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to release the admit cards for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main Examination 2024 on Thursday, November 14. Candidates preparing for the IFS Mains can download their hall tickets directly from the official website, upsc.gov.in, once they’re available.
UPSC recently issued a notification stating that the e-Admit Cards will be accessible on its website (upsconline.nic.in) starting November 14. Candidates are encouraged to download and print their e-Admit Cards promptly. These digital admit cards are essential and must be kept safe until the final results of the IFS Examination 2024 are announced. UPSC clarified that no physical admit cards will be issued, and candidates should carefully read the attached “Important Instructions” when they access their e-Admit Card.
The IFS Mains 2024 is scheduled for November 24 to December 1, with exams held daily in two sessions: a morning session from 9 AM to 12 PM and an afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, except for November 25, when no exam will take place.
On examination days, candidates must present their e-Admit Card printout and an ID with the matching number listed on the admit card. Entry will be denied without these documents.
After downloading the e-Admit Card, candidates should verify their details, including name, photograph, and QR code. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately to the Commission by emailing [email protected].
The IFS Preliminary Examination results were released on July 1, 2024, with a detailed list of qualified candidates published on July 19. Those who passed the Prelims completed the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) between August 27 and September 5 to qualify for the Mains.
Candidates successful in the Mains will advance to the final interview stage.
