The Government of India has re-appointed Usha Nair and appointed Prasanna Tantri and Naresh Dhanrajbhai Keila as Non-Official Directors on the Board of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC).
Usha Nair, an entrepreneur based in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her re-appointment to the PFC Board acknowledges her ongoing contributions and dedication. Actively involved in social welfare, Nair focuses on the upliftment of underprivileged communities. She is a strong advocate for women’s rights and supports the elderly, homeless, and orphans through various philanthropic initiatives.
Prasanna Tantri holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mangalore University and is a qualified Cost Accountant. He has also completed a Post Graduate Programme in Management and a Fellow Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business (ISB), along with a Ph.D. from Deakin University. Currently, he serves as Associate Professor of Finance at ISB and Executive Director of the Centre for Analytical Finance. His research focuses on banking, financial inclusion, regulation, and the intersection of politics and finance. He previously served on the PFC Board for a three-year term, during which he was a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and also chaired the Audit Committee and the CSR & Sustainable Development Committee.
Naresh Dhanrajbhai Keila is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience. He also holds degrees in law (LL.B.) and commerce (B.Com). Keila currently serves as a member of the Gujarat State Fee Revision Committee and was previously a Director on the Board of Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank Ltd. (2014–2017). He is the current President of the Zalawad Federation of Trade & Industries, the apex body representing the trade and industrial community of Surendranagar. In addition to his professional roles, Keila has actively volunteered with the Rotaract Club (District 3060) as an Assistant District Rotaract Representative. He currently manages the Dhanraj Keila Charitable Trust, which is engaged in various philanthropic activities.
