Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone of a state-of-the-art data centre in Ghaziabad on Thursday, marking a significant stride in Uttar Pradesh‘s contribution to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047. The project is expected to strengthen the state’s digital infrastructure and promote technological growth.
Addressing the gathering at the foundation ceremony, Mr. Adityanath stated, “Prime Minister Modi gave a vision to the country for the year 2047, when we complete 100 years of independence—an India free from lack, an India that is developed. The path to achieving that goal runs through such Mini Ratna and Ratna companies. This data centre illuminates the road to an India that fully aligns with the Viksit Bharat mission.”
Focus on Agricultural and Dairy Growth
Earlier, on June 25, Mr. Adityanath highlighted the tremendous potential of Uttar Pradesh in the sectors of animal husbandry and dairy. Speaking on the occasion of the Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan, he said that the campaign is turning Prime Minister Modi’s vision for rural and agricultural transformation into a reality on the ground.
“The possibilities in animal husbandry and dairy were never taken seriously by the previous governments,” said the Chief Minister. “Uttar Pradesh has the most fertile land and rich water resources. It also used to have high-quality livestock. But due to years of neglect, even that began deteriorating. However, in the last 10-11 years, substantial work has been done in this sector, and results are now clearly visible.”
He emphasized that the agricultural sector in Uttar Pradesh suffered due to the negligence and anti-farmer mindset of previous administrations. “The work that should have been done in a state blessed with immense agro-based potential was ignored. Schemes were created not for farmers, but for political gains and tender manipulation. There was no real intention to benefit farmers, women, youth, or livestock owners,” he added.
Farmers Now Leading Better Lives
Mr. Adityanath credited the turnaround to the proactive steps taken by Prime Minister Modi since 2014. “Earlier, the condition of our farmers was deplorable. Many even resorted to suicide. But today, thanks to visionary leadership and inclusive development, the lives of our farmers have improved. They are now prosperous and confident. Migration and farmer suicides are no longer common in the state,” he noted.
Conclusion
The Chief Minister’s address highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s dual focus: bolstering digital infrastructure and ensuring agricultural revival. The Ghaziabad data centre project and the reforms in agriculture and dairy stand as examples of how the state is aligning itself with the national goal of building a modern, self-reliant, and prosperous India by 2047.
