Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government on Wednesday announced a major reshuffle involving four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, signaling a strategic move to enhance administrative efficiency across various departments.
An official order issued by the state government’s Personnel Department detailed immediate transfers and new assignments aimed at streamlining governance and improving project implementation.

Key Changes in Officer Assignments
- Ranveer Singh Chauhan has been relieved from his position as Namami Gange Project Director, marking an end to his tenure at the helm of the flagship river cleaning initiative.
- District Magistrate Nitika Khandelwal has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of overseeing the Tehri Development Authority, expanding her administrative portfolio.
- Gaurav Kumar has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), reflecting confidence in his leadership abilities.
- Apoorva Pandey will now also serve as Director of Swajal, tasked with water and sanitation projects, adding to her existing duties.
The transfer order was signed by Rajendra Singh Patiyal, Joint Secretary Personnel, and takes immediate effect.
