The Uttarakhand Forest Department has undertaken a significant reshuffle in the jurisdiction and postings of several Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers. The transfer orders were issued late Tuesday evening, affecting key positions in the department.
Among the notable changes:
- Mr. Kapil Lal, Chief Conservator of Forests, previously handling Project and Community Affairs, Uttarakhand, Dehradun, along with an additional charge of Chief Conservator of Forests, Environment, has now been designated as Chief Conservator of Forests, Project and Community Forestry, Uttarakhand, Dehradun, with the additional charge of Planning and Financial Management, Uttarakhand.
- Mr. Nishant Verma, Additional Chief Conservator of Forests, who was previously handling Planning and Financial Management, Uttarakhand, along with Forest Conservation, Forest Fire, and Disaster Management, Uttarakhand, Dehradun, has now been officially posted to Planning and Financial Management, Uttarakhand.
