Greater Noida: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ₹200 crore KDSG Super Speciality Hospital in Greater Noida, a state-of-the-art medical facility built in Ecotech-3, Sector-10. Developed through the partnership of former cricket captain Kapil Dev and Sunil Gupta, the hospital offers world-class treatment at affordable rates for patients across the National Capital Region (NCR).
The 300-bed hospital features advanced medical facilities in cardiology, oncology, and neurology, ensuring comprehensive care for critical conditions such as cancer and heart diseases.
State-of-the-Art Medical Infrastructure
The KDSG Super Speciality Hospital is equipped with:
- Advanced MRI and ultrasound machines
- High-tech surgical equipment for complex procedures
- Specialized oncology treatment facilities for cancer patients
- Fully trained paramedical staff and modern patient care infrastructure
The hospital aims to provide affordable, high-quality healthcare to residents of Greater Noida and surrounding NCR districts, combining advanced technology with patient-centered care.
Leadership and Management
The hospital will be managed by Dr. Ajinkya D.Y. Patil, ensuring professional oversight and smooth operations. During the inauguration, CM Yogi highlighted the importance of private sector participation in healthcare, stating that public-private partnerships are essential for delivering superior medical facilities to citizens.
He praised Kapil Dev’s entry into the healthcare sector, noting the symbolic value of having a cricket legend contribute to India’s healthcare development.
Health Initiatives and Government Support
CM Yogi also emphasized the government’s role in strengthening healthcare across Uttar Pradesh:
- Introduction of the Golden Ayushman Card, providing ₹5 lakh coverage to 60 lakh beneficiaries
- Expansion of medical facilities from 6 AIIMS in 2014 to 23 under PM Narendra Modi
- Establishment of 81 medical colleges across 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh
- Creation of around 1,000 new jobs for doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff
The CM noted that the hospital not only enhances healthcare access but also generates employment opportunities, reinforcing Uttar Pradesh’s development and growth initiatives.
Kapil Dev on KDSG Hospital and Future Plans
Cricket legend Kapil Dev addressed the audience, stating that KDSG Hospital is fully equipped to provide affordable and advanced healthcare services. He also revealed plans to expand the KDSG network across Uttar Pradesh, making high-quality medical care accessible to more residents.
Kapil Dev further expressed his support for Team India ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup match against England, wishing the players success.
