One can very well understand why children get super excited when they see the sky with the stars twinkling and the serene moon reminding everyone of its graceful presence in the universe. Even adults are left mesmerised by such beautiful sights of the sky in its full splendour, reminding us that there is so much to know and explore in the universe.
Erode District gave such an opportunity to the future explorers of the universe and the space. On 28 October, the district administration organised an event to give students a chance to witness a once-in-a-long time event. Jupiter is very near to the Earth, and the students from schools and colleges got the opportunity to see this celestial beauty from close quarters by looking at it through telescope.
The pictures from the event have been shared on social media by the Collector of Erode and were reposted by various pages and organisations.
