When IAS officer Ms. Archana Verma visited a wheat field and helped peasants in reaping the crop, her gesture took social media by storm. The 2104 batch officer is currently serving as DM Hathras.
The photo of Ms. Verma cutting the crop has gone viral and many civil servants and influencers have shared it on their wall.
Retired IPS officer Mr. Yashovardhan Jha Azad has also posted her picture saying these actions by young collectors are good gestures. He also mentioned a similar gesture by Collector of Lucknow earlier.
