A video of a fight between an elephant and a rhino, shared by 1989 batch Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda on Twitter, has gone viral. He called it a “clash of the titans”. The video has so far had 397 retweets and 2,105 likes. News agencies have also picked it up and shared it on their sites.
In the video, the two titans are seen engaged in an intense fight, throwing up a cloud of dust. At one point, the elephant seems to overpower the rhino, and the latter is seen falling to the ground with the jumbo towering over it. But, soon enough, the rhino somehow manages to get up and run away with great speed. The place of occurrence is not mentioned in the tweet.

As usual, Twitter users came up with interesting comments! One user commented that “rhinos are bullies by nature. Elephants are gentle giants until being threatened. Never mess with an elephant.”
Although rhinos are quite powerful and dangerous, this time, though, the round goes to the elephant who taught the rhino a lesson, and showed it its place.
