IAS Supriya Sahu (1991 batch) recently shared a compelling video on X, showcasing a remarkable rescue mission at Pench Tiger Reserve. The footage captures a tiger and a wild boar, natural adversaries, trapped together in a well—an unusual yet gripping scenario.

Rather than engaging in a fight, the two animals found themselves in a shared predicament, awaiting rescue. The Pench Tiger Reserve rescue team stepped in with precision and expertise, executing a delicate yet daring operation to lift both animals to safety.
“A wild rescue like no other! When natural foes, a tiger and a boar, fell into the same well, they found themselves in the same sinking situation,” Sahu wrote in her post. She praised the team’s efforts, calling them the “real heroes” who ensured the safe release of both creatures.
This extraordinary rescue serves as a reminder that nature often crafts its own stories, defying expectations in the most unexpected ways.
