1989 batch Indian Forest Service officer, Mr. Susanta Nanda shared some photos of Golden beach from Puri in Odisha and instantly they all gone viral on social media. People were just mesmerized to see jaw dropping beauty of Puri beaches.
Mr. Nanda took to Twitter to share a few astonishing images that capture the beauty of Odisha’s Golden beach. He wrote on twitter, “Golden beach at Puri is rated as one of the cleanest beach of India.
Also certified as the Blue flag beach,continuously for last three years. Salutations to the ground staff for making this possible even under torchlights. 🙏🙏”
People are reacting on his post and telling their opinions about Puri beaches. One of the user said, “Easters side beaches are much focused in terms of cleanliness. Rushikonda too a clean beach…..in facts, cities are also cleaner.. is it because of better awareness or strong will by the system there?”
The Blue Flag certification, accorded by Foundation for Environment Education (FEE) in Denmark, is a globally recognised eco-label. It is based on 33 stringent criteria in four significant heads. These are environmental education and information, bathing water quality, environmental management and conservation and safety and services on the beaches.
