On World Rhino Day, Assam’s Kaziranga National Park shared a beautiful video of a rhino playing in water puddles in a grassy area . The video shared by All India Radio News (AIRN) on social media platform, X, shows the rhino running around in excitement and full enjoyment.
AIRN wrote on X, “Assam: #Kaziranga national park celebrating #WorldRhinoDay today. Kaziranga is the home of highest number of one horn #Rhino.”
The Park is a protected area and a world heritage site.

World Rhino Day was first proclaimed by the World Wildlife Fund-South Africa in 2010 and has been celebrated internationally since 2011. The day celebrates both rhino species, especially African and Asian.
This day is celebrated worldwide for raising awareness towards the need of rhino conservation.
