Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra on a visit to Sitapur while inspecting the development works in the district, showered praise on a library built by Hargaon’s block developmental officer (BDO). His video of the library tour has gone viral on social media.
Hargaon BDO Mr Atma Prakash Rastogi built the library for children of the Backward Class Welfare Hostel in Sitapur in memory of his late father Ram Gopal Rastogi. It was a personal initiative that has proven to be a blessing for the kids of the community. The Chief Secretary could not help but heap praise on the working style of the BDO in front of the media.
He also appreciated the education system in Sitapur. He was happy to see the smart classes in Abhyudaya Yojana and the library in the Backward Classes Welfare Hostel and praised the district administration.
Hargaon is a town and a nagar panchayat in Sitapur district in Uttar Pradesh.
