2014 batch IAS officer Saloni Sidana is talk of the town now a days. Her videos and photos are viral on the Internet. She is the DM of Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh.
Rcently, a video went viral on social media. In the video. she is seen to feeding a cook named Teeja Bai of a government school in her plate. People are loving her gestures and praising the officer lot. Netizens also lauding her simplicity.
Ms Saloni had gone to inspect the schools of the district on Wednesday. During this, she also checked the mid-day meal given to the students.
During checking, she ate the mid-day meal and also fed Teeja Bai with his own hands. Her picture of feeding Teeja Bai is going viral on social media since then.
Earlier, she was in Andhra Pradesh cadre. But, after marrying Ashish Vashisht, an IAS officer of MP cadre, she got herself transferred to MP cadre.
Before preparing for UPSC, she was studying medicine. She has done MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College. In the UPSC exam, she got success in her first attempt.
In the UPSC CSE – 2013, she cracked the exam with AIR-74.
