What is one piece of advice that you would give to a 1st attempter?
Many bureaucrats commented on his tweet, giving their piece of advice. Some of which are:
There is nothing called first or second attempt.. Examiner or UPSC does not know it’s your first attempt, it’s in your mind. Talk to successful people because failure will only tell you how not fail but not how to succeed.

Prepare for the exam assuming the attempt to be the last one!

Deactivate social media. I did same.

Do not give a test attempt. Every attempt counts. The regret of wasting the first attempt is tremendous if you are in 5th/6th one.

Do not take toppers' talk as gospel. Listen to toppers for different perspectives and apply your own mind. Each one of us is different. What worked for someone may not work for you!
