Madhya Pradesh DSP Santosh Patel, posted in Gwalior, has shared a video of 20 village women sitting on the ground of the district Panchayat office and waiting to meet the CEO, an IAS officer.
In the video, the police officer can be seen joking and laughing with the group of women, who were pronouncing ‘pension’ as ‘pencil’. They had come to meet the CEO with some problem related to government pension. The CEO was not in office at that time but DSP Patel called him up on phone and told him about the special visitors and their problem.
After getting off the call, he told the waiting women that they should not worry and just laugh, and their problem would get solved. He had said this in humour but it actually came true, as the IAS CEO provided a solution even before the women returned to their village.
Towards the end of the video, DSP Patel was full of praise for the CEO and all other IAS officers like him who provide prompt solutions to the common man’s problems.
