Expressing gratitude to the citizens for their continued trust, Mr. Kumar said that the people have given him the privilege to serve Bihar for nearly two decades. During this period, his government has worked with commitment toward development, good governance, and social harmony.

“When I took charge in 2005, being called a ‘Bihari’ was considered an insult,” said Mr. Kumar. “Through honesty, hard work, and people’s cooperation, we changed that perception. Today, being called a ‘Bihari’ is a matter of pride.”

Inclusive Development for Every Section of Society

Highlighting his government’s inclusive approach, Mr. Kumar emphasized that the Bihar government has worked equally for all sections of society—irrespective of religion, caste, or social background.

“Our government has worked for everyone—Hindus, Muslims, upper castes, backward classes, most backward classes, Dalits, and Mahadalits,” he said. “I have never worked for my family’s interests, only for the welfare of the people of Bihar.”

This emphasis on equality and social inclusion has been one of the defining principles of Mr. Kumar’s leadership, ensuring that development reaches the last mile of society.

Partnership with NDA Driving Bihar’s Growth

In his address, the Chief Minister underlined that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has played a crucial role in the state’s progress. “The NDA government, both at the Centre and in the state, has accelerated the pace of development in Bihar,” he stated.

He added that the combined efforts of the state and central governments have led to visible progress in key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and law and order.

“Along with development, law and order has also strengthened in Bihar,” Mr. Kumar remarked, pointing out that safety, education, and health have been among his government’s top priorities.

Bihar’s Development: A Story of Transformation

Since assuming office, Mr. Nitish Kumar’s administration has focused on rebuilding Bihar’s identity—from a state once known for migration and underdevelopment to one that represents resilience and growth.

The government’s initiatives in roads, rural electrification, women’s empowerment, and health infrastructure have redefined the state’s development model. His policies have consistently reflected a blend of good governance (Sushasan) and social justice, the two pillars of his political philosophy.

Looking Ahead with Confidence

As Bihar heads toward another election, Mr. Nitish Kumar’s message underscores continuity, confidence, and a commitment to the people’s welfare. His focus remains on balanced development, communal harmony, and effective governance, ensuring that Bihar continues to progress on the path of prosperity and peace.
