Addressing a massive election rally at Anuplal Yadav College Ground in Triveniganj, Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar reflected on Bihar’s transformation over the last two decades. “The days of Jungle Raj, when people locked their doors and stayed home in fear, are over. Today, travelers can move freely at night, and communal hatred has been eliminated,” he said, emphasizing the state’s journey toward safety, peace, and communal harmony.

Healthcare Expansion and Employment Initiatives
Mr. Kumar outlined significant improvements in healthcare, noting that Bihar has increased medical colleges from six to twelve, with plans to establish one in every district. He also highlighted employment achievements, stating that 4 million youth have already been employed, and promises to generate one million more jobs after the next government formation.
Women Empowerment and Financial Support Programs
The Chief Minister highlighted women’s empowerment efforts, noting that Bihar Police now has the highest percentage of female officers in the country at 35 percent. He also mentioned the Jeevika scheme, which has provided Rs. 10,000 to 14 million women for employment, with remaining accounts to be credited soon. Additional support includes up to Rs. 2 lakh for women performing significant work, alongside plans to build marriage halls in all Panchayats at a total cost of Rs. 4,000 crore.
Infrastructure and District Development
Infrastructure projects were also discussed, including the construction of a medical college and a bypass in Triveniganj. Mr. Kumar stressed the government’s commitment to comprehensive district development and urged citizens to remain cautious against opposition propaganda.
