The Chhattisgarh School Education Department has issued an official order to recruit 4,708 teachers, following approval from the Finance Department. This recruitment forms part of the state government’s larger initiative to appoint 30,000 teachers over the coming years, aiming to strengthen the education system and ensure quality learning in government schools.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Leads the Initiative
Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai had earlier announced the teacher recruitment program during the Good Governance Festival in Dhamtari. The current recruitment is a step forward in fulfilling that promise, reflecting the government’s commitment to youth employment and educational development.

Out of the initial 5,000 positions announced, 4,708 are now being filled after a reduction of 146 lecturer (computer) and 146 yoga instructor positions. The process will be conducted by Chhattisgarh Vyapam (CG Vyapam), ensuring transparency and efficiency in the selection process.
Exam Schedule and Application Process
CG Vyapam will soon release the examination schedule and application dates. The recruitment process is designed to be fully transparent and practical, minimizing any potential controversies. With the official announcement, there is widespread excitement among the educated youth, who have been eagerly awaiting these opportunities.
A New Era for Education in Chhattisgarh
This teacher recruitment program not only provides employment opportunities but also strengthens the educational infrastructure of the state. Experts highlight that the initiative will improve learning outcomes, support teacher-student engagement, and pave the way for a modernized education system across Chhattisgarh.
