CM Soren Praises IPSOWA’s Service-Oriented Mission
Addressing attendees at the event, Mr. Soren commended the efforts of IPSOWA in bridging the gap between the underprivileged and the mainstream.
“The organization has come a long way in supporting deprived and needy citizens,” said Mr. Soren. “It is run by the family members of police personnel who are committed to protecting the lives and properties of 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand.”
The Chief Minister also noted how events like this fair strengthen the social fabric, promote grassroots entrepreneurship, and reinforce the values of service and community solidarity.
Festive Platform Supporting Welfare and Local Talent
The IPSOWA Diwali fair serves as a platform for local artisans, small businesses, and self-help groups (SHGs) to display and sell their products in a festive, family-friendly environment. Proceeds from the fair often go toward charitable and social development activities, focusing especially on women, children, and marginalized groups.
The initiative also reflects the active civic engagement of police families and their commitment to societal development beyond law enforcement.
Strengthening the Police-Public Bond Through Cultural Outreach
The fair not only celebrates Diwali but also promotes trust and goodwill between the public and the police community. Events like these create opportunities for citizens to connect with law enforcement families in a non-formal setting, building mutual respect and deeper engagement.
Mr. Soren emphasized that community-driven programs like this resonate with the state government’s vision of inclusive governance and grassroots empowerment.
