fChief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that the School Education Department has provided a strong platform for emerging talent in Madhya Pradesh through Anugunj, a flagship initiative celebrating creativity, innovation, and holistic learning. Speaking at the Anugunj program held at the Subhash School of Excellence in Bhopal, Dr. Yadav praised the department’s commitment to fostering the overall personality development of students across government schools. He reiterated that continuous innovation will be implemented to enhance educational quality and infrastructure, ensuring that government schools become centers of excellence and pride for the state.
Dr. Yadav commended the state’s educators for their dedication and passion, noting that many government schools in Madhya Pradesh have received national and international recognition for their achievements. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a 200-meter boys’ hostel under the Super 100 scheme, reflecting the government’s commitment to providing world-class facilities for meritorious students.
Dignitaries Attend the Anugunj Celebration
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including School Education Minister Mr. Uday Pratap Singh, MLA Mr. Bhagwan Das Sabnani, Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Mr. Kishan Suryavanshi, and District Panchayat Vice President Mr. Jat. Their presence reflected the shared vision of promoting quality education and nurturing young talent in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced that after the Red Fort in Delhi, the Machal of Samrat Vikramaditya Nata will be held in Bhopal on November 2 and 3, inviting citizens to participate in large numbers. He described Emperor Vikramaditya as a legendary ruler known for his visionary leadership, generosity, and good governance, adding that his spirit continues to inspire modern Madhya Pradesh.
Sandipani Schools Emerge as Centers of Excellence
Highlighting the transformation in public education, Dr. Yadav noted that government schools, particularly Sandipani Vidyalayas, have become highly sought-after institutions. Students are increasingly preferring admission to these schools due to improved academic standards and modern infrastructure. “This is the Madhya Pradesh of changing times,” he said proudly, attributing improved examination results and student engagement to the relentless efforts of educators and administrators.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the creative stage design and decoration of the Anugunj program and personally honored mentors who played a vital role in nurturing student talent.

Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Dr. Vijay Shah stated that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes the holistic development of students and integrates art, culture, and academics into the learning process. He described Anugunj as a shining example of this vision, where education meets creativity and tradition.
Cultural Extravaganza Showcasing India’s Diversity
The seventh edition of Anugunj featured mesmerizing cultural performances by students, including instrumental music, Odissi’s Mango and Jasmine marriage, Dashavataram in Bharatnatyam, Amantraan Simhastha Ka in Kathak, and Shri Krishna Vandana in Manipuri dance. A drama titled Taana Bana Toot Na Jaye was also staged by school students, captivating the audience.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised the performances and lauded the students’ creativity and confidence. Commissioner of Public Education Smt. Shilpa Gupta welcomed dignitaries, while School Education Secretary Dr. Sanjay Goyal delivered the vote of thanks. The program was efficiently conducted by school students with Mr. Vinay Upadhyay assisting in stage management.
