UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s trusted advisor and confidant, IAS officer Renuka Kumar is returning back to Uttar Pradesh State Government from her central deputation that took place in June last year. She had gone on central deputation on 30 June 2021 and was posted in the Union Ministry of Minority Welfare.
Now, after a year, the officer has been called back to the state by the government. The reason is stated to be the acute shortage of senior IAS officers in the state as numerous officers will be retiring within these two months. It is believed that Renuka will be given a top-level posting, now that she is returning to the state.
