Weeks ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the government of Rajasthan, through a circular issued by its Department of Personnel, mandated the reshuffling of seven IPS officers across the state.
Mr. Abhijeet Singh (2012 batch IPS), the incumbent Superintendent of Police (SP) in Balotra, was replaced by Mr. Kundan Kanwariya (2018 batch IPS), and appointed SP (CID) in Jaipur. Ms. Monica Sain (2014 batch IPS) was appointed SP in Dungarpur, replacing Mr. Shyam Singh (2012 batch), who in turn, was transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) in Jaipur.
Mr. Laxman Das (2014 batch IPS) was mandated to assume office as the SP of Pratapgarh, while Mr. Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay (2019 batch) and Mr. Sumit Mehra were appointed SPs of Karauli and Dholpur, respectively.
