The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of former IAS officer Ram Sevak Sharma as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Authority (NHA) for two years. Sharma has also served as chairman of TRAI.
Sharma is a 1978-batch IAS from Jharkhand, will succeed Indu Bhushan Sharma who is scheduled to retire on 31 January.
