In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Uttar Pradesh mandated the transfer of two IAS officers across the state. Mr. Dhananjay Shukla (2015 batch IAS), presently posted as Special Secretary (Appointments), was made Additional Commissioner State Tax (GST). Mr. Shukla was replaced by Mr. Vijay Kumar (2018 batch IAS), who takes additional charge as Special Secretary (Appointments) while serving as Special Secretary (Mining).
