On June 22nd, in a significant bureaucratic reshuffle after the Lok Sabha 2024 polls, the government of Uttar Pradesh mandated the transfer of at least 16 IPS officers across the state.

Mr. S.B. Shiradkar (1993 batch), presently posted as the Commissioner of Police (CP) of Lucknow, was transferred as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) in the Lucknow zone, while Mr. Amrendra K. Sengar (1995 batch) became the new Lucknow CP. Mr. Tarun Gauba (2001 batch) was made the Prayagraj Police Commissioner, replacing Mr. Ramit Sharma (1999 batch), who became the ADGP of Bareilly zone. Mr. Prashant Kumar (1990 batch), presently posted as the Inspector General (IG) in the Economic Offences Wing, was made the IG of Lucknow Range.

Several other IPS officers namely Mr. B.D. Paulson (1998 batch), Mr. Rajesh Dwivedi (1997 batch), Mr. Yamuna Prasad (2012 batch), Mr. Prem Chandra Meena (1991 batch), Mr. Prakash D (1994 batch), Mr. J.N. Singh (1994 batch), Mr. L.V. Antony (1994 batch), Mr. Dev Kumar (1993 batch), Mr. Vidya Sagar Mishra, Mr. Binod Kumar Singh (2007 batch), Mr. K. Satya Narayan (1998 batch), and Mr. Raghubeer Lal (1997 batch) found their names mentioned in the post-poll transfer orders.
