In a minor reshuffling of cadre four IAS and one IRS have been posted in Jammu & Kashmir Khan. The recent order also included 2017 batch officer Athar Aamir Khan. He was previously serving in Rajasthan cadre and now has been posted to Jammu & Kashmir. He assumed charge as the Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) replacing Gazanfar Ali.
After taking the charge Mr. Khan held a review meeting with all the senior officers, unit officers of SMC. He also took a detailed review of the SMC functions including Drainage, Solid Waste Management, street lights, Swachh Bharat Mission and directed the officers to ensure that all activities are being carried out within the deadline. He emphasized on maintaining transparency in the execution process.
The other three IAS officers and one IRS official include Alok Kumar (IRS), UP-cadre IAS officers Rahul Pandey and Krittika Jyotsna, and IAS officer Akshay Labroo.
