IPS Probationers Sweat It Out at SVPNPA Triathlon

2021-batch IPS probationers participated in a triathlon organised by SVPNPA on 28 November. The triathlon started at 4:30 am and was flagged off by the Director, A.S. Rajan. Both ladies and gentlemen officers participated in the event involving 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running.

In 2021, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) started the first ever NPA triathlon. Forty one IPS probationers from 73RR of 2020 batch successfully completed this triathlon. The event involved completing 1 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running in succession.

In this year’s triathlon held on on 28 October, a record number of IPS probationers of 2021 batch participated. It started at 4:30 am and was flagged off by the Director of SVPNPA, Mr. A.S. Rajan.

Braving the early morning chill, the IPS probationers participated enthusiastically in the triathlon held by the Academy in Hyderabad.

Both ladies and gentlemen officers participated in the event involving 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running.

SVPNPA trains Indian Police Service (IPS) officer trainees before they are sent to their respective state cadres to carry out their duties. The Academy is in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
