Today on 31 October 2020, National Unity Day is being observed all across the country, marking the 145th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, participated in the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ in on Saturday and paid homage to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary. Prior to this, on Friday, he also inaugurated the Sardar Patel Zoological Park, popular as a Jungle Safari in Kevadia.

Apart from this, he also inaugurated the ‘Arogya Van’, ‘Ekta Mall’ and ‘Children Nutrition Park’ in Kevadia near the 182-metre-tall Statue of Unity.
