IAS officer Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Secretariat Administration, Uttarakhand, is an all-rounder in the true sense. While her achievements on the professional front speak of her efficiency as a bureaucrat, she is also a master of many arts. Whether it is writing, photography, or folk singing, her talents find expression in many ways.
She is one of the few people who could crack UPSC CSE in all of their attempts. Before joining IAS, she got selected for IPS and Indian Information Service. Having a background in journalism, Ms. Raturi came into civil services to make a difference, and she’s put in her best efforts to succeed in her aim in every posting.
In an exclusive interview to Indian Masterminds, she talks about her experiences as a bureaucrat, the challenges she faced while she was the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttarakhand for 10 years, her family, and other interests in life.
