To make working in CBI on deputation more attractive, the agency might throw in a residence too for officers on deputation to the agency. The CBI’s residential project in Delhi’s Maidangarhi is ready with around 600 residential units. But existing agency officials are hesitant to shift there mainly because of the lack of a proper approach road and the location being considered too ‘far’.
But now, the CBI brass feels these flats can be offered to the officials, especially from paramilitary forces, interested in working in the agency on deputation. Thus the flats will not remain vacant despite being fully constructed.
