The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on August 24 has appointed IFS officer Janesh Kain on deputation as the advisor in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Secretariat, Beijing, for a period of three years.
Mr. Kain is an IFS officer of 2006 batch and will replace IFS officer Ashish Kumar Singh Arya. He is currently serving as the Deputy High Commissioner in the High Commission of India, Port Louis, Mauritius.
