14 IAS officers transferred in Himachal Pradesh

Nine officers have been shifted while five new officers of 2018 batch joining the government after training are awaiting posting

In an administrative reshuffle, Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer of 14 Indian Administrative Officers(IAS). Notably, 9 officers have reshuffled. Five officers of the 2018 batch who have joined the government after their mandatory training are waiting for their first posting.

Mr Dorhe Chering Negi, IAS (2011) presently Special Secretary (Excise and Taxation), who has also held the position of Managing Director of HP State Electronics Development Corporation, has been posted as Settlement Officer, Shimla.

Mr Raghav Sharma, IAS (2013), Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kangra, has been posted as Managing Director, HP Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation, Kangra. He has also studied law at National Law University, Jodhpur and has worked as a lawyer for 2 years.

Mr Arindam Chaudhary, IAS (2014) currently Additional Deputy Commissioner, Una has been posted as Special Secretary. He will also hold the charge of Managing Director of HP State Electronics Development Corporation.

Mr Rohit Jamwal, IAS (2014),presently Director, Elementary Education, HP will be Director, Town and Country Planning, HP.

Mr Anurag Chander, IAS (2016), Sub Divisional Officer, Kullu has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Solan.

Dr Amit Kumar, IAS (2016), Sub Divisional Magistrate, Hamirpur is now Additional Deputy Commissioner, Una.

Mr Jatin Lal, IAS (2016), presently SDM, Kangra has been posted as ADC, Mandi.

Mr Rahul Kumar, IAS (2016), presently SDM, Sangrah (Sirmaur) will take charge as ADC, Kangra.

Mr Torul S Ravneesh, IAS (2016) currently Sub Divisional Magistrate, Una will be Additional Controller of Stores, Industries Department at Shimla.

The five officers anticipating their posting are as follows:

Mr Abhishek Verma, IAS (2018), currently awaiting posting, as Sub Divisional Officer, Kangra.

Mr Manesh Kumar, IAS (2018), currently awaiting posting, as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Amb, District Una.

Mr Ajay Kumar Yadav, IAS (2018), currently awaiting posting, as Sub Divisional Officer, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.

Mr Saurabh Jassal, IAS (2018), currently awaiting posting, as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Dalhousie, District Chamba.

Mr Mahendra Pal Gurjar, IAS (2018), currently awaiting posting, as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nalagarh, Solan.
