52 Officers Including Two IAS Officers Transferred In J&K

In a major bureaucratic shake-up, 52 officers have been transferred in J&K. Two IAS officers of 1992 and 2010 batch have been appointed in the Social Welfare Department.

In a major bureaucratic rejig, Jammu and Kashmir government has issued transfer orders for 52 officers including two IAS officers.
Among the list of 52, 1992-batch IAS officer Bipul Pathak, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary in Social Welfare Department. He also holds the additional charge of Administrative Secretary in the IT and Science & Technology Departments as also as CEO of the Jammu and Kashmir E-Governance Agency.
Whereas, 2010-batch IAS officer Niraj Kumar who was currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Department of Technical Education has now been appointed in the Social Welfare department.
Prior to this, 2003-batch IAS officer Rigzian Sampheal was holding the additional charge in both the departments, however he is now holding the charge as Commissioner-cum-Secretary in the Ladakh Affairs Department.
As two transfer orders were issued by the General Administrative Department, apart from these IAS officers several KAS officers were also transferred and posted with a new charge.
