The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred six IAS officers across the state which also includes senior IAS officers like Navneet Kumar Sehgal, Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Manoj Kumar Singh, Sanjay Prasad, and Babu Lal Meena.
1988 batch IAS Navneet Sehgal has been transferred and appointed as ACS- Information Department with an additional charge of Khadi & Village Industries Department and MSME Department.
Whereas, Awanish Awasthi has been relieved from the charge of ACS- Home, Visa passport, Jail Administration, CEO- UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
Sanjay Prasad who was currently serving as the Principal Secretary to UP Chief Minister and Secretary – Protocol has now been given an additional charge of Information Department.
Manoj Kumar Singh who was currently posted as ACS- Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department has now been transferred and posted as ACS- Horticulture Department. Whereas, Babu Lal Meena has been posted as Principal Secretary -Social Welfare.
Lastly, Saroj Kumar who was serving as Special Secretary- UP Technical Education has now been posted as MD- Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam, UP.
