Assam: Five IAS Officers Get Additional Charge

The Assam government effected a minor bureaucratic reshuffle as per which four IAS officers have been given additional charges while the other one is transferred and posted.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi, Principal Secretary, General Administration, Health and Family Welfare (Additional) Departments and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Medical Education & Research, MD, Atal Amrit Abhiyan and Project Director, Assam Health Infrastructure Development and Management Society till the return of Siddharth Singh from Mid Career (Phase IV) training at LBSNAA.
  2. Manish Thakur, Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department & Commissioner, Central Assam Division (Additional), has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Barak Valley Division till the return of Shantanu P Gotmare from Mid Career (Phase IV) training at LBSNAA.
  3. Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, Commissioner & Secretary, Revenue and DM, Border Protection & Development Departments and CEO, ASDMA (Additional), has been given additional charge of Director, Land Records & Survey till the return of Shantanu P Gotmare from Mid Career (Phase IV) training at LBSNAA.
  4. Swapneel Paul, Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, Director, IT (Additional) and Mission Director, AMRUT Mission, Assam (Additional) is allowed to officiate as Joint Secretary, Finance Department and Director, IT and Mission Director, AMRUT Mission as additional charges.
  5. Aditya Vikram Yadav, Staff Officer to Chief Secretary, Assam is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, General Administration Department with an additional charge of Staff Officer to Chief Secretary.
