In a minor Administrative reshuffle in Odisha, Sambalpur District gets a new District Magistrate in place of Mr Shubham Saxena.

As per the order issued on Monday, 2016 batch IAS officer Divya Jyoti Parida has been given the Charge of DM, Sambalpur. Previously he was Serving as the Commissioner of Rourkela Municipal Corporation with the additional charge of CEO, Rourkela Smart City ltd. He was also in charge of ADM Rourkela and Secretary, Rourkela Development Authority
