In a big administrative reshuffle in Himachal Pradesh, the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led newly elected state government transferred and posted 9 IAS and eight HAS (Himachal Administrative Services) officers.
2009 batch IAS officer Rohan Chand Thakur has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, HP Roadways Transport Corporation (HRTC) replacing Sandeep Kumar, who has been posted as Special Secretary, Technical Education.
While 2009 batch IAS officer Manasi Sahay Thakur has been posted as Labour Commissioner cum Director Employment.
2014 batch IAS officer Pankaj Rai, who is Special Secretary Education, has been relieved from the additional post of Special Secretary Planning.
Shubh Karan Singh, an IAS officer of 2015 batch, who is holding additional charge of CEO HIMURJA, has been posted as its CEO.
2018 batch IAS officer Abhishek Verma has been posted as Additional DC, Shimla. He was MD, General Industries Corporation.
As per the official statement by the HP Government, the nine IAS Officers who were transferred were Manasi Sahay Thakur, IAS (HP:2009), Rohan Chand Thakur, IAS (HP:2009), Sandeep Kumar, IAS (HP:2010), Rakesh Sharma Prajapati, IAS (HP:2012), Pankaj Rai, IAS (HP:2014), Shubh Karan Singh, IAS (HP:2015), Amit Kumar, IAS (HP:2016), Shivam Pratap Singh, IAS (HP:2017) and Abhishek Verma, IAS (HP:2018).
On the other hand, Ashish Kohli, a 2006-HAS officer, posted as commissioner, Shimla Municipal Corporation, has been posted as Secretary, State Transport cum Additional Commissioner Transport in place of Hemis Negi, HAS, who has been posted as Managing Director HP State Agriculture Marketing Board. Another HAS officer Bhupender Singh, MD MILKFED, has been posted as Commissioner, Shimla MC in place of Kohli.
As per the official statement by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, the nine HPAS Officers who were transferred were Ashish Kumar Kohli, HPAS (2006), Hemis Negi, HPAS (2007), Rajiv Kumar-II, HPAS (2007), Naresh Thakur, HPAS (2007), Bhupender Kumar, HPAS (2009), Tashi Sandup, HPAS (2011), Ajit Kumar Bhardwaj, HPAS (2012), Jyoti Rana, HPAS (2012) and Vikas Sood, HPAS (2012). Additionally, the official statement also mentioned the transfer of Nishant Thakur, HPAS (2010).
