The Punjab government has transferred 13 IAS officers in the state with immediate effect. Their names and postings are as follows:

  • 1990 batch IAS officer Anurag Agarwal who is presently posted as ACS-cum-Financial Commissioner, Cooperation with additional charge of ACS, Elections given additional charge of ACS-Medical Education & Research.
  • 1992 batch IAS officer Raji Pramod Srivastava who is presently ACS-cum-Financial Commissioner, Forests and Wildlife Preservation transferred as Additional Chief Secretary- Freedom Fighters, Punjab
  • 1996 batch IAS officer Vivek Pratap Singh IAS (1996) presently Principal Secretary, Local Government has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary- Health & Family Welfare, Punjab.
  • 1997 batch IAS officer Rahul Bhandari who is presently Principal Secretary-Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs with additional charges of Principal Secretary- Civil Aviation: Principal Secretary-Information & Public Relations: Principal Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi has been transferred as Principal Resident Commissioner-Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi.
  • 1997 batch IAS officer Veerendra Kumar Meena presently posted as Principal Secretary- Freedom Fighters with additional charges of Principal Secretary- Printing & Stationery and Principal Secretary- Health and Family Welfare has been transferred as Principal Secretary- Printing & Stationery, Punjab.
  • 1998 batch IAS officer Vikas Garg presently posted as Principal Secretary- Transport given additional charge of Financial Commissioner- Forests and Wildlife Preservation, Punjab.
  • 1998 batch IAS officer Sumer Singh Gurjar presently posted as Principal Secretary, Social Security, Women & Child Development with additional charge of Commissioner. Roopnagar Division has been transferred as Principal Secretary- Agriculture & Farmers Welfare with additional charges of Principal Secretary, Horticulture and Principal Secretary.   • 2001 batch IAS officer Gurkirat Kirpal Singh who is presently posted as Secretary Tourism with additional charge of Secretary- Mines & Geology has been transferred as Secretary- Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs with additional charges of Secretary Tourism and Secretary Mines & Geology.
  • 2004 batch IAS officer Arshdeep Singh Thind presently Secretary Agriculture & Famers Welfare has been given additional charge of Secretary-Horticulture.
  • 2005 batch IAS officer Ritu Aggarwal presently posted as Secretary, Home Affairs & justices has been transferred as Secretary-Cooperation, Punjab
  • 2005 batch IAS officer Malwinder Singh Jaggi who is presently posted as CEO, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board has been transferred as Secretary- Information & Public Relations with additional charges of Secretary- Civil Aviation and CEO, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
