IAS Officer Simrandeep Singh Made Deputy Secretary in Department of Economic Affairs

According to the order, Mr. Singh has been appointed to the post of Deputy Secretary for a period of five years.

2008 batch IAS officer, Simrandeep Singh has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs for a period of five years.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (11.10.2022), Mr. Singh, who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed to the post for a period of five years under the central staffing scheme from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
