In a Major Reshuffle, Rajasthan Govt. has Transferred 30 IAS officers and 06 IAS Officers Given Addl. Charges

In a major reshuffle, Rajasthan Government has transferred 30 IAS officers and given additional charges to 6 IAS officers in the state. They are-

Officers given additional charges are:

  1. 1993 batch IAS officer Shikhar Agrawal who is the Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Indira Gandhi Canal Department, Jaipur and Chairman, Indira Gandhi Canal Board, Jaipur and Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, State Water Resources Planning Department, Jaipur.
  2. 2003 batch IAS officer Krishna Kunal who is the Additional Chief Election Officer, Election Department has been given additional charge of Secretary, Fisheries and Gopalan Department, Minorities Affairs and Waqf Department.
  3. 2005 batch IAS officer Bhawar Lal Mehra who is the Division Commissioner, Ajmer has been given additional charge of Administrator, Secondary Education Department Board, Ajmer.
  4. 2010 batch IAS officer Hridesh Kumar Sharma who is the Director and Ex-officio Joint Secretary, Local Bodies Department has been given additional charge of Executive Director, Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (RUDSICO).
  5. 2010 batch IAS officer Meghraj Singh Ratnoo who is the Director, Fisheries has been given additional charge of Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
  6. 2011 batch IAS officer Hari Mohan Meena who is the Director, Social Justice and Empowerment Department and Ex-officia Joint Secretary and Panchayat Raj (Social Justice and Empowerment) Department has been given additional charge of Commissioner and Joint Secretary, Disabled.

Names and Postings of officers transferred are:

  • IAS officer Abhay Kumar who is the Additional Chief Secretary (home and transport) was made ACS-Rural Development and Panchayti Raj, and food and civil supplies department.
  • IAS officer Anand Kumar who is currently posted as principal secretary-revenue, sainik kalyan and devsthan will be the principal secretary-home.
  • IAS officer Sandeep Verma who is the CMD of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) was transferred to the science and technology department as principal secretary. 
  • IAS officer Nathmal Didel, who was Hanumangarh Collector, will take over as the RSRTC CMD in Jaipur;
  • IAS officer Rukmani Riyar who is the collector Sriganganagar was given the Hanumangarh charge.
  • IAS officer Saurabh Swami who is the collector of Pratapgarh was given the charge of Sriganganagar while Dungarpur Collector Indrajeet Yadav will replace him.
  • IAS officer Laxminarayan Mantri will be the new collector in Dungarpur. He was transferred to Dungarpur from the board of secondary education where he was the administrator.
  • IAS officer Antar Singh Nehra has been made the divisional commissioner of Rajasthan capital Jaipur.
  • IAS officer Naveen Mahajan has been shunted out of the post of principal secretary of the PWD Department. He has been replaced by IAS officer Vaibhav Galaria, who was formerly the principal secretary of the health department. 
  • IAS officer Sandeep Verma has been posted as Principal Secretary, Information and Technology Department.
  • IAS officer Anand Kumar has been posted as Principal Secretary, the Home and Defense Department. 
  • IAS officer Pradeep Gawande has been appointed as Commissioner, the Colonization Department of Bikaner.
