The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of IAS officer Krishan Kumar as the Additional Secretary along with 19 more IAS officers of different cadres.
IAS Krishan Kumar is an upright officer of Punjab and has been handling the mining department. He is an IAS officer of the 1997 batch. Krishan Kumar has brought a lot of improvement in the state of Punjab, especially in the field of education.
