Maharashtra government has transferred and posted three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. 2001 batch IAS officer Vijayalakshmi Prasanna Bidari has been named as the new Divisional Commissioner of Nagpur. After 3 months, Nagpur has got a permanent divisional commissioner in the form of Vijayalakshmi.
Former divisional commissioner of Nagpur Prajakta Lavangare Verma has gone to the center on deputation.
IAS officer Vijayalakshmi Prasanna’s father was the Police Commissioner of Bangalore. His younger brother is also IPS. There are 5 members IAS and IPS in Vijayalakshmi’s family.
While IAS officer VN Suryavanshi has been posted as additional commissioner of MMRD in Mumbai. 2011 batch IAS officer Sushil Khodvekar will be Maharashtra Statutory Development Board member secretary. He is reinstated by Maharashtra government. He was suspended after being arrested in the question paper leak case by the Pune Police.
