After the removal of the model code of conduct in UP, the process of transfer of officers has started. 6 IAS officers have been transferred on Saturday. In these, the DMs of 3 districts- Azamgarh, Sitapur and Hapur have been changed. Vishal Bhardwaj has been made the DM of Azamgarh. He was till now the DM of Sitapur. While Megha Rupam has been made the DM of Hapur. Till now she was Additional Commissioner in Meerut.
Azamgarh DM Amrit Tripathi has been kept in the waiting list. Hapur DM Anoop Singh has been sent to Sitapur. Vikramaditya Malik has been posted as CDO Ghaziabad.
