Election Commission has announced the election dates. With this, the model code of conduct has come into force in UP. Four IAS and five PCS officers have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh as soon as the model code of conduct is imposed.
Along with this, 13 IAS officers have been promoted. Of these, two IAS officers have been promoted to the post of secretary. RP Singh MD has been made Special Secretary Home from UPSTC, Rajesh Kumar Rai, ACEO UPSIDA as Special Secretary Home, Shivakant Dwivedi Special Secretary Minorities as Special Secretary Home and Rakesh Kumar Malpani Special Secretary Industrial Development and Establishment as Special Secretary Home.
Among the five PCS officers, SDM Navodita Sharma has been sent from Firozabad to Mainpuri, Arun Kumar Mishra from Shravasti to Ballia, Ashok Kumar I from Chandauli to Rae Bareli, Ashish Kumar Mishra from Pilibhit to Rae Bareli and Atreya Mishra from Gonda to Ballia.
